Time Guesser

Time Guesser is a web app that uses video animations to test your own perception of time. Clicking on the start button starts a video animation. It runs until the user clicks the stop button to end it – exactly when they think 30 seconds have elapsed. A total of five short video sequences are shown one after the other. The videos are minimalist graphic animations in black and white. In chronological order, a dot turns into a surface or, conversely, a surface turns into a dot. In addition, different animation speeds are used to counteract the impression of an identical time grid. After the users have watched all five videos, their measured personal times are finally listed.
