Theory of Space

This booklet serves as documentation of the course Theory of Space: Interrelation of Interior and Exterior in Art, Architecture and Exhibition Design. The content is based on four daytrips to the cities of Essen, Velbert, Wuppertal, Cologne and Neuss. Lined up chronologically, they form the central chapters of the documentation, which in turn are subdivided according to the buildings and works of art visited on site. The visits to architectural and art-historical buildings, the theoretical addition of explanatory texts and the discussion between all course participants resulted in a booklet that focuses on the spatial relationship between individual buildings.
